Cherry blossoms have come out

The Meteorological Agency has announced that "somei-yoshino" cherry blossoms came out in Tokyo today.
In Rikugi-en Garden, the most famous weeping cherry tree has just begun to blossom.  But another tree is in full blossom now.  There were many security guards but few visitors in the garden.

Shortage of bottled water in Tokyo, again

The announcement, that tap water is not suitable for infants to drink, is striking panic into people in Tokyo.  Noboday knows when the nuclear power plant disaster ends.  We are losing sense of self-composure day by day.

Early cherry blossoms

Though the part of the trunk was damaged badly, early cherry blossoms were in their best near Koishikawa Botanical Gardens.  I'm not familiar with the types of cherry blossoms.  But maybe this cherry blossom is called "karamizakura" or "shinamizakura".

One week after the catastrophe

One week passed since the catastrophe.  The situation hasn't improved at all.  Fuel, foods and other goods haven't supplied sufficiently at most evacuation centers.  Many survivors have faced serious conditions.  Fears of the radiation accidents are increasing day by day.  There is still confusion even in Tokyo.

There is lower visitors walking along Jizo-dori Street in Sugamo than usual.  At this shopping mall, fund-raising campaigns are banned to prevent contribution fraud.
